Women Gone Wild… what does that mean?

Truth be told it really should say woman reclaim your wild, but that is a mouthful and not as catchy as women gone wild. It's a tongue in cheek play on “girls gone wild”, which is an insult to women everywhere!

Girls gone wild is the adolescent fantasy of juvenile men featuring girls in skimpy bikinis, drunk and vying for attention in a wet tee-shirt contest.

Only an adolescent male could conjure that, right?!

But from a marketing perspective it does grab you. This is my apology to women everywhere.

Now let's get down to a real wild woman. Who is she, if not a bikini clad, drunk, wet tee-shirt wearing play thing?

She is a self motivated, empowered woman who has done the work to heal her microbiome, reclaim her emotions, health and sanity because her gut is no longer corrupted and at the mercy of pathogenic flora. Pathogenic flora thrive in the polluted environment of a gut that has been fully domesticated, aka torn asunder by the onslaught of processed food, stress, poor daily routine, disconnect from nature and adherence to all things “convenient”. Convenience lures us in with promises of ease. I wonder what is easier, degenerative disease or getting in the kitchen, making your own food and/or buying food that is skillfully made to be healthy and living by the time tested “laws” of nature?

A woman gone wild is her own woman. She is not held captive by convention. She is no longer driven by the pathogenic flora in her gut. She prioritizes herself and and everyone wins!

So how do you get from where you are now to where you'd like to be?

In a few words:

eat only from Dr. Gundry's “yes” list

get out in nature

move your body

love the sun, wisely

embrace intermittent feasting (you may know this practice as intermittent fasting, but what fun is that!)

need a little help with that? That's why I'm here.
